Children's Therapy Program

he Children's Therapy Program is a cornerstone service within the STEPS to End Family Violence offering programs and services that provides free comprehensive supportive counseling services to children throughout New York City.

For the past 16 years, the Children's Therapy Program has provided children between the ages of 4 and 14 and their families a safe place to begin healing from the violence to which they have been exposed and to cope with the losses they have endured through incarceration and foster care placement.

Approximately 75 children and their families participate in the program every year through individual, group and family counseling. The Children's Therapy Program provides ongoing Parenting and Children's Group cycles throughout the year. For more information call 646-315-7600.
