Children's Therapy

Since there are few programs available for children who have witnessed abuse in their homes, STEPS To End Family Violence received many more referrals than we could serve. But as a result of a new contract with the New York State Office of Children and Families in February, which increased our Children's Therapy Program, we hired an additional full time Therapist and a part time Therapeutic Child Care Worker. Now we are able to service additional children with individual therapy, group activities, and art therapy. These services make a difference in preventing further abuse in their lives.
