HRA Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP)

APP (Relationship Abuse Prevention Program) partners with six New York City high schools to provide outreach, education and counseling on abusive relationships. In each school a coordinator works on premises, reaching over 2,000 teens per year with the goal of raising awareness and offering intervention and prevention counseling.

RAPP provides training for teachers, individual and group counseling for students, educational classes, workshops peer leadership training and facilitates special school events for students.

This program is funded by the New York City Human Resources Administration, Domestic Violence Division.
